On Tuesday, October 31 at 7:30pm the Dominican House of Studies will host the 2017 Vigil of All Saints, with the theme “Witness of the Martyrs,” celebrating the martyrs as witnesses for Christ through readings about the saints, the Office of Compline (sung Night Prayer), a candlelight procession to the House Reliquary, and a chanted Litany of the Saints. Confessions will be available throughout the evening and a reception will follow.
Due to the popularity of this event, guests should plan to arrive early if they desire a seat. There is some parking available behind the Dominican House of Studies and the parking lot of the USCCB on 4th St, NE is available for overflow parking after 5:30pm. DHS is located only 2 blocks from the Brookland/CUA metro stop on the Red Line and is also served by WMATA buses 80 and H2-H6. Additionally, there is a Capital Bikeshare rack near the Brookland/CUA metro and bus station on 10th and Monroe St, NE and bike racks are available at DHS.
