On Monday, October 31 the Dominican House of Studies will host the 2016 Vigil of All Saints, with the theme “Mirrors of Mercy” fitting for this Extraordinary Jubilee Year, and will show how saints reflect God’s mercy to the world through readings about the saints, the Office of Compline (sung Night Prayer), a procession to the House Reliquary, and a chanted Litany of the Saints. Confessions will be available throughout the evening and a reception will follow.
Due to the popularity of this event, guests should plan to arrive early if they desire a seat. Due to “SafeTrack Surge 10” there will be no metro service at CUA/Brookland on the Red Line during this event: there is a Capital Bikeshare rack at the station, bike racks are available at DHS, and the parking lot of the USCCB on 4th St NE is available for overflow parking after 5:30pm. DHS is also served by WMATA buses 80 and H2-H6.
