The Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies will host its annual Vigil of All Saints, on All Hallow’s Eve, Saturday, October 31st.
Held in the Main Chapel of the Dominican House of Studies, the Vigil begins at 7:30 p.m. and consists of readings from the saints, the Office of Compline (sung Night Prayer), a procession to the House Reliquary, and a chanted Litany of the Saints. Confessions will be available throughout the evening and a reception will follow.
This year, as the Order of Preachers prepares to celebrate its 800th Jubilee, the Vigil will have as its theme “In the Image of St. Dominic,” and will draw on the saints and history of the Dominican Order.
