Sundays in Advent
The Dominican Friars invite you to join us for the four Sundays of Advent this year as we preach about the Last Things that every soul will face: death, judgment, and heaven or hell. In this Year of Faith we will explore not simply the truth of these things we believe, but how, since they are great gifts from God, they in fact lead us ever closer to eternal life.

Bro. Bonaventure Chapman, O.P.
Death comes to us all, but no one wants to talk about it. But what if you could do more than talk? What if you could have faith in it and beyond it? Join us for a dialectical journey from the Tree of Knowledge to the Tree of Life; alongside Martin Heidegger and St. Thomas Aquinas; as we go from the Garden of Eden to the City of God.

Bro. John Maria Devaney, O.P.
After death our immortal soul will leave our bodies and our entire lives then will be judged before God. This mysterious moment after our natural death will begin the supernatural life. Find out what we can expect, how we can prepare, and most of how must we all entrust ourselves to the Divine Mercy of Jesus Christ.

Bro. John Sica, O.P.
St. John says that in heaven “we will see God as He is.” What does it mean for a soul to see God? How will the vision of God make us happy forever?

Bro. Philip Neri Reese, O.P.
Christmas decorations are up, presents are purchased, and music is already playing. We’re ready to celebrate the birth of Christ Our Savior. But what was he born to save us from? This last talk in our Advent series will help us remember exactly why all our music has meaning and our presents have purpose.
